Helpful +0 Report Eoghan Aug 31, 2008 12:18AM Hello, I am desperate...can anyone help...Please! Smitfraud caused a lot of problems for me. Using the site is easy and fun. Do you do P2P filesharing ? http://ivideoconverter.net/how-do/how-do-i-fix-sims-3-installation-system-restore-incomplete.html

However, when run, the resulting downloaded file asked...Do you want to write this line to the registry?...but it didn't display the line. so I do "net start System Restore Service" and it says it was enabled successfulyl yet no go. I used the registry thing, I was able to download it and it says it worked but I still cannot use system restore. I have run Spybot, HijackThis, stinger10000457, Norton Internet Security (which is also having issues since the Advanced Protection/SONAR can't access any servers to check in, update or work), etc. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/system-restore-is-not-able-to-protect-your/098cd590-484a-4e17-82a2-79c0b7162e4c
